Mohamed El-Boraï graduated with a Ph.D. in Computational Aerodynamics from the UK after completing his apprenticeship with Hawker Siddeley Aviation (Hatfield).
A 48-year aviation veteran, he worked at both Boeing, as a Senior Aerodynamicist, and Saudi Arabian Airlines where he set-up the Performance Engineering department before heading the Flight Operations Automation. Mohamed moved on to Airbus in the Customer Support department where he reached the position of Head of Customer Support Services in charge of both the Product Support and Training.
Mohamed has provided airlines, lessors and financial investors with the required contractual and technical support, in addition to providing management consultancy which has led him to be advisor to CEOs of Flag Carriers and Low-Cost airlines as well as a Board Member of an airline. He successfully managed a turnaround as managing director of Thomas Cook Airlines and was a board member of Thomas Cook UK.
He is an ISTAT Foundation Trustee.
